Sanju joined the NCA in March, 2009 after four seasons as video analyst with the Bengal CA Ranji Trophy team. He also served in that capacity for the East Zone in both Duleep and Deodhar trophies .
He gained his NCA qualification in 2007 and was video analyst for East Zone Under 19 camp and NCA Under16 & Under 19 camps.
Sanju played as a batsman in first division club cricket in Kolkata, and with Bangladeshi team, Abahani, in the Surrey League.
In his final year in England (2004), he qualified as a Level One coach, and upgraded to Level B with the NCA in 2007 and Level C in 2010.
