The Cricket Association of Bengal organised a seminar for cricket coaches from all over the state of West Bengal at the auditorium of the Calcutta University. The function was attended by over 500 coaches and was inaugurated by Mr. Biswarup Dey, Hon. Joint secretary of the CAB. Mr. Sandeep Patil, Director-Operations, of the NCA addressed the enthusiastic audience, exhorting them to undertake the accreditation programmes offered by the NCA and adopt the latest methods of coaching to help nurture future cricketers for the state and the country. Others who spoke on the occasion included Mr. Dav Whatmore, former Director of the NCA and currently coach of the Kolkata Knight Riders on Batting and issues concerning Team Management as well as ICC match referee Mr. Raju Mukherjee besides other faculty from the NCA.
