A month long camp for players representing the All India Universities commenced at Dharamshala. Twenty cricketers from different Universities of the country will undergo training imparted by a team of coaches and support staff nominated by the National Cricket Academy.
A six week long camp for Under-16 cricketers selected from all over the country commenced at the NCA in Bangalore. Thirty budding youngsters selected from different states of India will undergo a Movement Analysis, Biomechanical testing and Musculoskeletal screening prior to the commencement of the development programme.
The camp was inaugurated by Mr.Sandeep Patil, Director-Operations, NCA who along with his team of coaches and support staff will oversee the conduct of the various activities.

The Assam Cricket Association hosted a Level 'O' Fitness Trainer's course for state associations of the East Zone, besides Associate and Affiliate states. Twenty four candidates attended the four day programme at Guwahati.
The course was inaugurated by Mr. Ghanashyam Barua, Honarary Treasurer, Assam Cricket Association and was conducted by faculty nominated by the National Cricket Academy.
